Hey, I’m Jay, and welcome to my blog!
A little bit about me…
I started my fitness journey back in 2014, and have amassed over a decade of knowledge in bodybuilding, weight loss, strength & conditioning, and nutrition. Recently, I’ve been implementing this breadth of knowledge with my personal training clients and as a collegiate boxing instructor. This blog is designed to help you get into the best shape of your life – with all of the best knowledge and resources and none of the gimmicks and fads!
In June of 2019, I took part in my first ever INBF (International Natural Bodybuilding Federation) Men’s Physique bodybuilding show. I took first place in my class and second overall for the WNBF Pro Qualifier. I got the chance to showcase my physique and compete against some of the best natural physiques in New England.
In May of 2020, I graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nutritional Sciences. I then partnered this knowledge with a certification in personal training from NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) and have been training with a diverse range of clients with varying goals. Whether it’s to lose fat, build muscle, build an incredible physique or learn the ropes of martial arts, I’m here to instill some of my knowledge into whoever I get the pleasure to work with.
In late 2021, I became a USA Boxing Certified Coach and now implement my strength & conditioning knowledge into the domain of boxing to coach students ranging from adolescents to adults into the best versions of themselves.
